Location
The picturesque Lune valley extending from Lancaster to the Sedbergh Howgills forms the divide between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District National Parks.
It is an outstandingly beautiful area which has been largely unaffected by the modern world. There are diverse and contrasting landscapes and The Meadows is strategically located within the valley to maximise the opportunities they present.
Travelling North/South
Leave the M6 at Junction 34, 35 or 36 and head east to Kirkby Lonsdale. The Meadows is situated 1 mile to the east of Kirkby Lonsdale, turn off the A65 at the Whoop Hall Hotel and follow signs to the rear of the country club. (The Meadows is approximately 7 miles from M6 Junction 36).
Travelling East/West
The appropriate route is the A65 linking Yorkshire through the northern tip of Lancashire and Cumbria.
